We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and password (stored as a secure hash via Firebase Authentication).
• Usage Data: We collect data about how you interact with Stellar Unbound, including pages visited, features used, scan history, and tracked products.
• Amazon Seller Data: If you connect your Amazon Selling Partner account, we access pricing, inventory, and sales rank data through the Amazon SP-API on your behalf. This data is used solely to power the features you use within Stellar Unbound.
• Payment Information: Billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. We receive limited subscription metadata (plan status, renewal date) from Stripe.
• Communications: If you contact us for support, we retain those communications to help resolve your issue.

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Stellar Unbound platform
• Process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
• Sync and display your Amazon seller data within your account
• Send transactional emails (password resets, billing receipts)
• Respond to support requests
• Monitor and improve platform security and performance

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or Amazon seller data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Stellar Unbound integrates with the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) to retrieve product pricing, sales rank, and inventory data. By connecting your Amazon account, you authorize us to access this data on your behalf.

• Amazon seller data is stored securely in Firebase Firestore and is only accessible to your account.
• We do not share, aggregate, or sell Amazon seller data across accounts.
• You can revoke access at any time through your Amazon Seller Central account under Apps & Services.
• We comply with Amazon's Acceptable Use Policy and Data Protection Policy.

Your data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore, hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. We implement the following security measures:

• All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
• Firebase Authentication handles password hashing and session management
• Firestore security rules enforce per-user data access — no user can access another user's data
• API credentials and refresh tokens are stored server-side only and never exposed to the browser
• Stripe handles all payment data under PCI-DSS compliance

Stellar Unbound uses browser local storage to remember your preferences (such as your preferred view mode in the product scanner). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Firebase Authentication may use session cookies to maintain your logged-in state. These are strictly necessary for the platform to function.

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, and hosting infrastructure.
• Stripe: Payment processing and subscription management.
• Amazon SP-API: Product and seller data retrieval (only when you connect your account).
• Vercel: Application hosting and deployment.
• Anthropic Claude API: AI-powered product screening feature.

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their data practices.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and Amazon seller data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

Scan history and tracked product data can be deleted at any time from within your account settings.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Revoke Amazon SP-API access at any time
• Export your tracked product data

Stellar Unbound is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice within the platform. Your continued use of Stellar Unbound after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
